Everyone loves a heartwarming, inspiring and heartfelt story because it makes us feel warm and bubbly on the inside. And that’s exactly what a Facebook page called ‘Love What Matters’ shared. They posted a story about a woman named Lisa Lemming Jackson who works at a senior care facility.
It was during a trip to a local grocery store when Lisa noticed something was wrong.
When she confronted the man, she ended up turning the senior’s day around.
Lisa is a woman from Georgia and it was one day during a grocery shopping trip to a nearby Kroger’s that she reached ‘Good Samaritan’ status.
She saw an older man that appeared to be acting a little strange so she decided to confront him and ask him if he needed help.
The man, whose name is Elmer, said: ‘I have colon cancer and I have had a really bad accident. If I get up out of this cart everyone will know… What should I do?’
Instead of shying away from the potentially messy situation, Lisa went right into the action. She wrote: ‘the look of his dignity lost left me with a lump in my throat.’
