Just another Uber horror story to add to the growing pile.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. After all, Uber might have made traveling cheaper. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they made it safer. Because believe it or not, there have been many instances where Uber drivers have done horrific things.
From robbing to trying to take a woman to the hotel, the story which we are going to talk about today falls in the latter category. Yes, this actually happened. And Nancy’s story, a law professor at the University of Denver, is its own proof.
She took Uber to get to the Airport. However, it seems the Uber driver had something else in mind for her.

And this is how the story starts.
Nancy started screaming when she realized what was happening.
Thankfully, there were some construction workers around.
So he couldn’t get to her. However, he got away.
She was smart enough to write down his license plate number.
She then called another Uber and reached the Airport.
And tweeted directly to Uber about the whole scenario.
She then soon realized that the person might have been using a fake picture.
She wanted a quick response from Uber.
It took a while for them to respond.
Many people started to message them commenting on what Uber can improve on.
While many shared their own horrific experiences with Ubers.
It turns out this wasn’t the first time this had happened.
Some people mused that the reason Uber responded is that she had a blue check.
Many Twitter users started blaming her for not immediately calling the police.
Even though they have no idea what she was going through.
And some even supported her wholeheartedly.
We still don’t know if Uber has taken action, but Nancy did respond thanking all her well-wishers.
