Girl Shames Friend For Achieving Everything Because Of ‘White Privilege’ Gets Shut Down Hard

Let me set the record straight here.
There’s no such thing as privilege. If you look at someone who’s successful, and the first thing you notice is their skin colour, and attribute their success to said skin colour, you’re a racist. There’s no such thing as “white privilege”, “male privilege”, “female privilege”, “black privilege” or any of the sort.

You do not choose how you’re born, and you no one has the right to reduce your achievements based on the traits. So, now that we have that out of the way, let’s move to what happened.

As you can see, someone was accepted into Yale!

So someone came along to tell them that they got in because they were white.

And she simply wouldn’t listen.

She got shut down. Hard.

She obviously wasn’t going to listen so the conversation was over.

Other normal people were obviously disgusted with Melissa.

So I ask you.
What do you think about it? Was it her white privilege that got her into Yale or her countless hours of effort and refusal to become victimised by a society that didn’t do her any favours?

I’m leaning on the latter.
