Marcos Alberti a Brazilian photographer has captured the faces of women before, during and after orgasms in a bid to ‘break down the barriers of female sexual well-being’. He has titled it The O Project and assures to ‘present female sexuality like it’s never been done.’ The female orgasm, especially the female sexuality in general, has always been one of the most controversial debate.
He has worked with big brands like Coca-Cola, Samsung, Nestlé, and Nike. Now, he tried to do something different, where he captured the facial expressions of different women before, during, and after climax while using a vibrator. However, the female sex organ, clitoris which is about only one inch in size, receives little if any stimulation depending on the position, which in fact makes it extremely hard for women to reach orgasms. But, when they do, this is how it looks.

2. These are all headshots of women, as the waist below view was hidden for the photographer too.
3. The women are all from different race, culture, and nationality like USA, France, China, and Singapore.
4. The message Alberti wants to convey is that ‘all women deserve to be in control of their sexuality, no matter their background’.
5. All the women reached their orgasms by using a vibrator during this stint.
6. Alberti demonstrates each woman’s facial changes in sequence, as they reach and recover from their orgasms.
7. The Global Brand Manager of Smile Makers, Fan Yang commented ‘Female sexuality is more often shrouded in shame and secrecy.’
8. Yang added ‘All the women who modeled were in awe of their photos, especially the final shot where they were glowing and radiant’
9. Yang said ‘That final shot, of a strong female grinning into the camera, is exactly what we want people to see’
10. ‘We hope that everyone viewing this project will feel more confident about their bodies and sexuality,’ says Yang.

12. Alberti spoke about his project ‘I love that we were able to speak so frankly with these women about sex and pleasure.’
13. Alberti said it was necessary to involve women of all ages, backgrounds, and ages in the project.
14. In one of his photo project ‘3 Glasses’, Alberti captured people in their natural state, then after one, two, and three glasses of wine.
15. He feels that through the lens of humor, people start opening up and sharing more freely on the taboo topic of sex.
16. And when people share openly and freely, it leads to an enormous change in people’s psychology.
17. The first picture of these women is captured when they just arrive for the shoot with all the stress and fatigue.
18. The second photo is captured when they begin masturbating.
19. The third is when they are reaching their orgasms.
20. The fourth captured the comfort they experience after the climax, with their glowing and joyful faces.
